Job Summary:

As a Human Resources Generalist at Charles River Recovery, you will play a vital role in supporting the organization's business objectives by promoting, communicating, and implementing human resources strategies and initiatives. This position requires a strong understanding of HR principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel, including payroll, benefits, and compensation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures, as well as the employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
  • Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Oversee payroll and related items, including benefits administration and claims resolution.
  • Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs.
  • Monitor the performance evaluation program and revise as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain affirmative action programs, including filing EEO-1 reports annually and maintaining other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
  • Handle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
  • Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars.
  • Maintain company organization charts and the employee directory.
  • Assist in evaluating reports, decisions, and results of the department in relation to established goals, recommending new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve efficiency.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years proven experience in an HR administrative role or similar position.
  • Knowledge of HR principles and practices, including recruitment and HRIS systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations is a plus.
