Anesthesiology Physician

We are seeking an experienced Anesthesiology Physician to join our team at Greenstaff Physician & Provider Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in anesthesia coverage for hospitals, with a focus on general surgery and GYN cases. This is a great opportunity for a skilled professional to work in a level 4 trauma facility with a high volume of surgical cases.
Practice Setting:
Our hospital operates 5 ORs and 2 procedure rooms, with a traditional tech and RN staff. The provider on call will be covering a room during the day, and will be responsible for call shifts on weekends and weekdays. Call at OMH is beeper call, with a preference for 6 call shifts per month.
Schedule (Shifts/Hours):
The schedule for this position will be 6:45a-3:15p (with 0.5 lunch 8hr total) and 6:45a-5:15p (with 0.5 lunch 10hr total).
EMR:
We use Meditech as our EMR system. The average number of surgical cases per day is TBD, with a focus on call coverage only.
Trauma Level/Designation:
This is a level 4 trauma facility, with a high volume of general surgery and GYN cases. The annual ER volume is approximately 19,000 annually.
Description of OR Staff:
Our OR staff consists of traditional tech and RNs, with 5 ORs and 2 procedure rooms. We will accept providers who need to obtain a state license, and require BLS and ACLS certification. We prefer experienced providers who can service a level 4 trauma facility with heavy general surgery and GYN cases.
Procedures Required:
The procedures required for this position include general surgical cases, minor nerve blocks, IV regional anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and obstetrical cases.
