Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care according to established standards of practice, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Mentor non-nursing personnel, promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
- Assist physicians with minor procedures and provide education to patients as needed.
- Schedule patient testing, pre-certify if necessary, and respond to telephone messages by end of shift.
- Ensure exam rooms are maintained, supplies are stocked, and equipment is cleaned after each use.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Connecticut.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
