Guidepost Montessori is seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Montessori Education Specialist. As a key member of our elementary education team, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic and personal growth of our students.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team of educators who are passionate about creating a unique and supportive learning environment. As a Montessori Education Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting a mixed-age class of students, collaborating with colleagues to create engaging lesson plans, and fostering a culture of effortful choices and truth-seeking inquiry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students in a mixed-age classroom setting, providing small group and individual lessons, follow-up work, and real-world extensions in all content areas.
  • Work closely with program experts to develop customized lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages effortful choices and truth-seeking inquiry.
  • Communicate regularly with parents to ensure they have a clear understanding of their child's progress.
Requirements:
  • A strong background in education, preferably with experience working with elementary-aged children.
  • A deep understanding of the Montessori approach and its principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for lifelong learning and professional growth.
What We Offer:
  • An annual salary of $62,000 - $75,000, depending on experience.
