Critical Care Paramedics provide advanced care to critically ill patients during transport, utilizing specialized equipment and techniques to stabilize patients en route to medical facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform advanced assessments and interventions for critically ill patients.
  • Administer medications and therapies as needed.
  • Monitor and manage complex medical equipment.
  • Coordinate with hospitals for critical care transfer protocols.
  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.

Requirements:
  • Advanced paramedic training with specialization in critical care.
  • State certification/licensure as a paramedic.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
