Executive Pastry Chef Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Executive Pastry Chef to lead our pastry and culinary programs in a luxury hotel setting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in high-end fine dining restaurants, preferably with a Michelin-starred chef.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing pastry menus, managing production and service teams, and maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. A strong understanding of health and sanitation standards, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills, are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement pastry menus, including recipe and menu development, cost control, and forecasting
  • Lead and manage a team of pastry professionals, including teaching and motivating team members
  • Ensure high standards of quality and presentation in all pastry products
  • Manage inventory and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless service and high-quality products

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in high-end fine dining restaurants, preferably with a Michelin-starred chef
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong understanding of health and sanitation standards
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the position

Compensation: Salary range $80,000 - $95,000 depending on experience
