Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide indirect and/or direct patient care, administer medications, document patient/family needs, participate in planning and implementing care for patients, and troubleshoot issues that may arise. About the Role
  • Provide indirect and/or direct patient care within the scope of practice and in alignment with our standards of excellence and quality.
  • Administer medications as directed by a physician.
  • Document patient/family needs, including vital signs, medical history, and other relevant information.
  • Participate in planning and implementing care for patients, including preparing them for examinations and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot issues that may arise during patient care, escalating problems to providers or supervisors as needed.
Requirements
  • Active Medical Assisting certification from a recognized organization (e.g., CMA, RMA, CCMA).
  • BLS Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant post-secondary education program preferred.
  • 1 year of recent Medical Assisting experience preferred.
