Job Overview

Fidelity Bank, a community-focused financial institution, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Travel Financial Center Representative to join our team in New Orleans, LA.

About the Role

This position plays a critical role in supporting our supervisors by providing exceptional client service, operational excellence, and making referrals. As a Travel Financial Center Representative, you will be responsible for performing teller transactions, balancing cash drawers, opening new accounts, engaging with clients, and contributing to the financial center's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service: Provide top-notch customer service to clients, both in-person and over the phone.
  • Teller Transactions: Perform various teller duties, including processing deposits, withdrawals, and other financial transactions.
  • Account Management: Assist clients with account maintenance requests, open new accounts, and provide guidance on Fidelity's products and services.
  • Referrals: Identify opportunities to make referrals and contribute to the financial center's success.
  • Operational Excellence: Balance cash drawers, locate and reconcile discrepancies, and assist with end-of-day procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: GED or High School Diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year of cash handling experience in a financial institution or retail environment.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), developed cognitive skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Availability: Ability to travel across the company footprint as needed.
