About the Position

We have an exceptional career opportunity for a Part Time Registered Nurse to join our team in New London, CT at the Withdrawal Management Program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing initial nursing assessments of clients, documenting ongoing assessments, and developing, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform initial nursing assessments of clients and document ongoing assessments.
  • Develop, implement, record, and evaluate nursing care plans according to age and specific needs of clients.
  • Participate in or supervise the nursing care of clients, providing direct physical care measures as needed.
  • Act as a primary nurse working with individual clients and coordinating their treatment.
  • Execute the medical regimen of care as prescribed by the physician.
  • Educate the client and family toward an understanding of health and illness and the plans for post-discharge care.
Requirements
  • Current State of Connecticut - Department of Public Health Registered Nurse License (RN).
  • CPR certification.
  • Computer Literate.
  • Experience in behavioral health/substance abuse field preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year based on experience and location.
