Job Summary
We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead to oversee the daily operations of our bakery-cafe. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that every customer has an exceptional experience, and that our team members are engaged, motivated, and equipped to succeed. You will lead by example, demonstrate our Guiding Values and Behaviors, and build a culture of Warmth, Belonging, Growth, and Trust.

Responsibilities
As a Team Lead at Panera Bread, you will:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance team performance.
  • Lead and manage a team of associates, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Ensure that every customer has an exceptional experience by making sure they are delighted by the quality of our food, service, staff, and safety measures.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, reports, and financial data to support business decisions and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to achieve business objectives and resolve operational issues.

Requirements
To be successful as a Team Lead at Panera Bread, you will need:

  • At least 1 year of restaurant management experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, with a proven track record of improving customer satisfaction and driving sales growth.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • ServSafe certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
