Physiatrist Opportunity at Hennepin Healthcare

Hennepin Healthcare is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible physiatrist to join our Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. This position will focus on outpatient responsibilities, with opportunities for inpatient consultation and acute rehabilitation service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outpatient care for patients with acquired brain injuries and other neurological disorders
  • Conduct inpatient consultations in the intensive care unit, general medical floor, and acute care hospital
  • Participate in medical student/resident/fellow education and research
  • Collaborate with the University of Minnesota on academic and research initiatives
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with complex neurological conditions

Hennepin Healthcare's Knapp Rehabilitation Center is a leading inpatient specialty program, serving adolescent and adult patients with various conditions, including traumatic brain injury, stroke, and spinal cord injury. Our team is committed to providing exceptional care and advancing the field of neurorehabilitation through research and education.

Qualifications:
  • Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Minnesota
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
  • Current DEA certificate or eligibility
  • Eligibility for hospital credentialing
  • Current life support certification
