About the Role:

Riverview Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Progressive Care Nurse to join our team. As a Progressive Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
  • Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
  • Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition.

Requirements:

  • Current and valid state RN License.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
  • Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
  • Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
