Asphalt Paving Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Specialist to join our production team at Romero General Construction Corp.

Romero General Construction Corp. is a leading construction firm in Southern California, specializing in grading, asphalt, and drainage repair services. With over three decades of experience, we have established ourselves as a trusted partner for communities across the region.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our highway-class asphalt paving crew, ensuring efficient production and maintaining high standards of quality. This position demands precision, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility to uphold our production schedules and deliver superior products to our customers.

• Prior experience in concrete and (or) asphalt or a similar role
• Knowledge of asphalt paving techniques, equipment, and materials
• Ability to operate and maintain paving equipment such as pavers, rollers, and skid steers
• Understanding of safety procedures and ability to follow them
• Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor in outdoor environments
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., CDL) is a plus

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
