Health Communications Planner Specialist Role

Leidos Intelligence Group is seeking a fully cleared Health Communications Planner Specialist for a rewarding and challenging opportunity with an Intelligence Community (IC) customer in Northern Virginia.
This new position offers tremendous opportunity for personal and professional growth, supporting an important mission in the National Security arena. As a Health Communication Specialist, you will serve a critical role in planning, implementing, managing, and evaluating major complex health communication strategies to support diverse population segments.
- You will plan and execute comprehensive communication strategies aligned with customer objectives, ensuring timely delivery.
- Create engaging written and visual content for various formats, such as placemats, reports, web-based materials, email messaging, and publications.
- Identify effective methods of delivery, communication channels, modes, and approaches tailored to target population segment needs, utility, and access to technology and communication channels.
- Develop content management processes to ensure accurate, relevant, and timely information under the guidance of the customer.
- Design message maps, storyboards, and scripts to convey the appropriate tone, content, and delivery of information reflecting the customer's culture, achieving strategic goals and objectives.
- Establish and evaluate strategies for continual process improvement and impact measurement across the diverse workforce, focusing on target population segments.
- Collaborate closely with partners, communication partners, and customers to develop a comprehensive approach to communications, ensuring strong integration across platforms and initiatives for maximum reach and engagement.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Obtaining necessary information for service requests and providing additional assistance as needed to meet requirements.
- Working cooperatively with team members.
- Establishing a rapport with customers, creating and sustaining positive relationships regardless of circumstances or environment.
- Understanding and explaining services offered by the office and unique qualifications of staff supporting this area.
- TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
- Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, or 5 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills to convey concepts to various audiences, both in person and in writing.
- Strong interpersonal skills, collaboration, and teambuilding abilities to interact effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to build relationships with multiple teams for cross-collaboration.
- Flexibility and creativity to identify solutions to problems, adapt to evolving priorities, and work well under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and flexibility to adjust to changing priorities.
- Ability to plan, set goals, monitor, evaluate, and report progress towards goals.
- Strong background in public health, understanding health communications principles with excellent writing skills.
