About the Role:

As a Preschool Teacher at Merryhill School, you will be part of a supportive community dedicated to inspiring young minds. Your primary responsibility will be to create a safe, loving environment where children feel valued and confident in exploring their natural curiosity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop engaging lessons in reading, writing, and math to prepare children for future learning.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance student experiences.
• Communicate effectively with families, providing daily updates on their child's progress and experiences.
• Maintain an organized classroom that fosters independence and exploration.

Requirements:

• Educational Requirements: 12 semester or 18 quarter units in early childhood education (ECE), covering areas like child development, family/community studies, and program/curriculum; OR a bachelor's degree in child development.
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You can connect effectively with children, families, and team members.
• Experience Preferred: Prior teaching experience with young children is ideal but not required.
