Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Support Specialist to join our team in a school setting. As a Support Specialist, you will work closely with teachers and students to provide academic support and assist in creating a positive learning environment.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will have a strong ability to work well in a team and independently, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparations and collaborate to implement teaching strategies
  • Provide one-on-one assistance to students as needed
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • Maine Ed Tech Certification or 60 credit hours at an accredited college
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Prior experience in a school setting is preferred but not required
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to meet the diverse needs of students
What We Offer

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer opportunities for professional growth and development.
