Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Painter to join our team at West Star Aviation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for painting aircraft to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply paint to aircraft surfaces using electrostatic paint guns and other equipment
  • Mask and tape aircraft parts to avoid overspray
  • Sand primer and prepare surfaces for painting
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines and time constraints
  • Follow all company and safety rules, including OSHA and hazmat regulations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years' experience as an automotive, commercial, RV, or aircraft painter
  • Valid driver's license approved for airline travel
  • Ability to work in a heated hangar or shop area, and on aircraft on the ramp
