Northwestern Territory Business Development Director for Government Solutions

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Director to lead our Northwestern Territory sales team in the SLED market. This role will be responsible for developing and executing strategic business plans to drive revenue growth, building strong relationships with public sector clients, and advocating for Intel-based products and solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the government technology landscape and the ability to navigate complex partner ecosystems.
Responsibilities:
- Gather customer and partner feedback to understand drivers of satisfaction and/or dissatisfaction.
- Determine root causes for issues/risks and establish recovery action plans to improve customers' overall experience.
- Become a trusted advisor to Intel's business units by influencing and advocating for Intel-based products and solutions through a vertically oriented, solutions-led approach to SLED customers.
- Work closely with partners within the Northwestern part of the country, from Northern California to Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and northern Nevada (Reno/Carson City), to drive Intel-based product purchases for the SLED market within the assigned territory.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in Public Sector (preferably SLED) sales experience and/or leading SLED sales teams in the processing technology, IT, OT, and/or end-user computing and/or networking equipment industries.
- Strong understanding of the government technology landscape and ability to navigate complex partner ecosystems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and building strong relationships with clients.
- A bachelor's degree in business or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) is preferred.
