Atrium Health Charlotte is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join their team in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Job Summary

Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic examinations with minimal supervision. Coordinates daily activities, including performing examinations and associated clerical duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
  • Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedures on requisitions submitted by physicians.
  • Confirms patient identification through verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
  • Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
  • Consults with radiologists and other physicians as necessary.
  • Selects and operates equipment according to individual procedure demands and demonstrates correct anatomic positioning skills.
  • Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
Requirements

Requires successful completion of a formal Radiology Tech Program in an AMA-approved facility, ARRT registration, and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS HCP) from the American Heart Association. If a new graduate, must be registry eligible with registry completion within one year of hire date.
