Senior Sales Development Manager

This is a sales development opportunity for a Senior Sales Development Manager to lead and manage our industrial coatings product segment in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sales, a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, and excellent communication and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share within assigned territories.
- Distributor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors to increase sales and profitability.
- End-User Engagement: Identify and qualify new sales opportunities, negotiate commercial terms, and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage salesforce.com (SFDC) to track leads, opportunities, and sales performance; execute contract management requirements; and document all necessary reports and information.
- Customer Back Innovation (CBI): Collaborate with customers to identify potential CBI opportunities, evaluate their feasibility, and develop strategic plans to capitalize on them.
- Travel Requirements: Frequent travel (75% or more) within assigned territories, as well as to Mexico and Canada, is required.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, along with a minimum of two to ten years of experience in sales in a manufacturing environment.
- Skills and Qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, and knowledge of marketing principles and competitive analysis.
- Additional Competencies: Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, possess an entrepreneurial spirit, and be a self-starter with high motivation and ability to work independently and on a team.
Compensation Package: This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
