Oncology Nursing Excellence

Our oncology nursing team is comprised of bright, motivated, and caring professionals who work together to provide excellent patient care. With nearly 3,000 professional nurses on staff, we offer a wide range of roles, from direct care providers to research nurses and advanced practice registered nurses.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our team in the Medical Oncology G21 Unit. As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for managing patient outcomes by providing, coordinating, and supporting clinical aspects of direct patient care across the continuum of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patient needs for nursing care and multidisciplinary team collaboration
  • Collaborate with physicians, other services, patients, and patient families to plan care and evaluate outcomes
  • Improve practice by integrating results and theories of research studies
  • Participate in data collection for current studies
  • Document care according to established standards
  • Act as a patient and family advocate to uphold patient rights

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification

About the Role

This is a full-time, regular position with a varied work schedule, including evenings, nights, rotating shifts, and weekends. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing degree and two years of recent inpatient nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics or oncology.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary range: $68,000 - $140,000
  • Exempt and eligible for overtime, paid at a time and a half rate
