Role OverviewSSM Health seeks a skilled EEG/EMG Technologist to perform intraoperative neuromonitoring, assessing the function of the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose potentially life-threatening neurological disorders using various techniques.
- Monitor patients during brain and spine surgery, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Conduct Electroencephalogram (EEG), Evoked Potentials (EP), and other diagnostic tests as needed.
- Analyze data and provide descriptive reports according to policy and procedure.
- Associate's degree in Neurodiagnostic Technology or completion of a Neurodiagnostic Technology program.
- Certification in Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA) and Certification for Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) - ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
