The Division of Allergy and Immunology at The MetroHealth System is seeking a board-certified allergist/immunologist to provide diagnosis and treatment of allergic, asthmatic, and immunologic diseases to the pediatric and adult patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform medical diagnosis and treatment of patients in the specialty area of Allergy and Immunology.
  2. Develop treatment plans tailored to each individual patient, document the plan clearly in the chart, and communicate effectively with the patient.
  3. Deliver medical care with compassion, efficiency, and innovation.
  4. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and incorporate best practices into daily work.
  5. Provide education and resources for patients, families, and staff.
  6. Ensure accurate documentation and communication to facilitate patient care and reimbursement.
  7. Collaborate with the allergy/immunology division and department of pediatrics to support operations.

Requirements:

  • Board certification or eligibility in Allergy/Immunology.
  • Completion of a 2-year fellowship training in an ACGME-accredited allergy/immunology program.
  • Licensure to practice medicine (MD or DO) in the state of Ohio.
