Job Description

As Assessment Office Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in the administrative management of our office. Your primary responsibilities will include serving as the primary back-up to the management team, focusing on record-keeping, bookkeeping, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to the public, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Data Entry and Record Maintenance: Accurately enter data into our system and maintain accurate records, ensuring seamless workflow and efficient operations.
  • Cash Handling and Deposits: Manage the cash register and make daily deposits, maintaining accurate financial records and adhering to established procedures.
  • Supervision and Task Delegation: Supervise general workflow, delegate tasks effectively, and provide guidance to team members to ensure successful project completion.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Prepare reports for tax collectors and governing bodies, ensuring timely submission and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Education: A high school diploma with general business courses is required; an Associate degree in business administration or accounting is preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of management experience is essential, demonstrating leadership skills and ability to work independently with general supervision.
Physical Demands:
  • Movement and Lifting: The position requires walking, talking, and reaching with hands and arms, with occasional lifting and moving up to ten pounds.
Working Conditions:
