We are seeking a skilled Production Engineer to join our team at our Asheville, NC facility. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to be part of a brand new facility and contribute to its growth.

Job Description

A successful Production Engineer will possess strong mechanical and manufacturing aptitude, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to effectively manage changing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include implementing and maintaining high safety standards, analyzing and resolving problems, and proposing and implementing process improvements.

The Production Engineer will also serve as a liaison between design engineering and production, provide input on standard operating procedures, and implement lean principles such as takt times, visual management, kaizen, and kanban.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university (Mechanical or Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering preferred)
  • Three to ten years of manufacturing experience required
