Job Title: RN-Triage/Oncology Specialist

Compass Oncology, a leading cancer care provider, is seeking an experienced RN-Triage/Oncology Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

Job Summary:

The RN-Triage/Oncology Specialist will be responsible for assessing patient needs over the phone, collaborating with physicians to develop care plans, and documenting patient interactions in the medical record. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and develop care plans in collaboration with physicians
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Document patient interactions in the medical record
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the applicable state
  • Minimum 0-3 years of nursing experience, preferably in oncology
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of cancer care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
