About the Role

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a skilled Healthcare Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring proper reimbursement and compliance with regulatory statutes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing, implementing, and managing ongoing organizational monitoring activities and educational programs
  • Identifying compliance issues, analyzing practice patterns, and verifying charges
  • Ensuring optimal reimbursement for the organization and interpreting regulatory changes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus credentialed as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist - Physician based (CCS-P)
  • One year of CPT and diagnosis coding experience in a healthcare provider or a third party payer
