LPN or Medical Assistant Rapid Clinic Opportunity

Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital, part of Fairview Health Services, is currently seeking an LPN/MA to provide quality patient care in a dynamic ambulatory setting.
This role involves working closely with healthcare providers to deliver exceptional patient care and service by maintaining efficient patient flow, escorting patients, identifying needs, collecting information, administering medications, updating electronic medical records, and implementing methods to improve care and the patient experience.
Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant
Employment Type: Part-time (.8-.9 FTE)

Department: Clinic Nursing
- Conduct focused assessments through data collection and comparison to normal findings and the patient's current health status. Report changes to licensed healthcare providers for direction and delegation of care.
- Participate in the development and modification of patient health plans of care.
- Implement delegated, ordered, or prescribed patient care interventions.
- Assign nursing activities or tasks to other LPNs.
- Monitor and assign tasks to certified medical assistants or unlicensed personnel.
- Foster patient-centered care through safe and effective interventions, advocacy, evaluation, and collaboration with healthcare team members.
- Provide health information to patients and review education materials.
- Contribute to policy development and implementation.
Requirements:
- Current LPN Minnesota state license and Medical Assistant certification or registration required. Must maintain licensure/certification/registration.
- Experience in an ambulatory healthcare setting preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and maintain positive relationships.
- BLS certification within two months of employment.
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to Grand Itasca policies, vision, mission, and values.
Competitive salary range: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
