Salary: $15.00/hour

This is a paid 12-week internship, providing a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop valuable skills in financial operations.

About the Role:

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Financial Operations Assistant. In this role, you'll assist with various tasks, including updating vendor information, reviewing and tagging invoices, and enhancing the AP workflow.

Your Responsibilities:

  2. Demonstrate a positive member service focus at all times, greeting members and guests with a smile and eye contact immediately upon their arrival.
  3. Demonstrate teamwork in all interactions with coworkers and in the completion of all duties and responsibilities.
  4. Ensure confidentiality of member information.
  5. Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of department events as directed by the appropriate staff member.
  6. Provide administrative and clerical support regarding respective departmental and organizational projects and tasks.
  7. Interact with internal and external GreenState parties, including fellow employees, department leaders, members, and vendors, in pursuit of departmental and organizational objectives.
  8. Participate in community service organizations and/or Credit Union-sponsored events on an annual basis.
  9. Perform any other duties as may be required to meet Credit Union objectives.

Requirements:

  1. Reports to work punctually, works all scheduled hours, and works overtime as necessitated by business demand.
  2. Must be a current student in good academic standing.
  3. Enthusiasm about knowledge acquisition and learning.
  4. Good oral communication skills and the ability to produce written communication.
  5. Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  6. Good telephone manners and techniques.
  7. Ability to use and understand written material.
  8. Ability to work with minimal direction and exercise sound judgment.
  9. Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  10. Strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
  11. Proficiency with related computer applications, spreadsheets, word processing, and database applications.
  12. Must be an undergraduate student entering their junior or senior year, prior to the commencement of the internship.
  13. Must be bondable.
