Client Advocate, Magnolia House Women's Shelter

CAMBA is seeking a Client Advocate to join our team at the Magnolia House Women's Shelter. As a Client Advocate, you will play a critical role in supporting the well-being and empowerment of our clients. This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) with a competitive salary of $16.00 hourly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in accessing community resources and services, including housing, education, healthcare, and social services.
- Plan and coordinate social/peer support events to promote wellness and recovery.
- Develop and implement individualized plans to support clients in achieving their goals.
- Collaborate with case managers to break through barriers to client goals and advocate for clients in the treatment and recovery process.
- Prepare marketing materials for the program and escort clients to appointments as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. and two (2) years of applicable experience and/or equivalent experience.
- Applicable experience working with homelessness, mental health, or substance use populations.
- Bi-lingual preferred.
