About the Role

Diverse Systems Group LLC is seeking a skilled Construction Inspector to join our team. As a Construction Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring that construction projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to inspect construction sites, verify compliance with building codes and regulations, and ensure that all work meets the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect construction sites to verify compliance with building codes, zoning ordinances, and other relevant regulations.
• Conduct thorough inspections of construction projects to identify defects, deviations from approved plans, and safety hazards.
• Assess the quality of workmanship, materials, and construction practices used in building projects.
• Document inspection findings, observations, and violations using standardized forms and reports.
• Communicate inspection results, findings, and recommendations to contractors, builders, developers, and other stakeholders.
• Enforce compliance with building codes and regulations by issuing stop-work orders, violation notices, correction orders, and citations as necessary.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in a related field (with high school diploma or equivalent).
• Several years of experience in construction, building inspection, code enforcement, or a related field, with knowledge of building construction methods, materials, and systems.
• Certification as a Building Inspector or Construction Inspector by a recognized professional organization is highly desirable.

Working Conditions
