Sports Medicine Specialist

**Job Summary**

ATI Physical Therapy is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Sports Medicine Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sports medicine team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive and coordinated care to athletes, while maintaining strong relationships with our affiliate partners.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Provide hands-on care and triage to athletes, utilizing written and verbal communication to integrate our sports medicine program into the affiliate.
• Perform clinical athletic training services, as needed and allowed by state practice acts.
• Independently manage the relationship with the affiliate, maintaining a positive work atmosphere and communicating in a manner that results in positive outcomes.
• Participate in ATI foundation activities and showcase ATI spirit to athletes, coaches, and community.
• Interact with staff Physical Therapists and clinicians regarding the treatment of affiliated athletes while in formal PT care.

• The knowledge of Athletic Training and continuing trends in the industry.
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail to document all reported injuries in appropriate records.
• Ability to travel between affiliates, events, and clinics, and work extra events as assigned.
• Successful completion of four academic years of pre-professional and professional study in a specialized curriculum accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education.
• Certification by the Board of Certification of the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification and appropriate state licensure that is current and in good standing.
