Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide technical nursing care to child through adult populations at our Adult Outpatient and Child and Adolescent Outpatient facilities. This role involves performing treatments and procedures within established guidelines, providing a safe and comfortable environment for patients, and contributing to nursing assessment, care planning, and treatment plan implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides direct care to patients within the scope of practice.
  • Contributes to nursing assessment, care planning, and treatment plan implementation.
  • Documents all aspects of patient care in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Maintains patient safety, comfort, and cleanliness.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid and current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience as an LPN.
  • Demonstrated competency in venipuncture techniques.
  • Strong clinical nursing specialties, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in word processing.
Working Conditions

This position requires standing for approximately two-thirds of the time, walking, sitting, using hands to finger, handle or feel, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, talking or hearing for more than two-thirds of the time. The work environment is moderate noise level, with occasional exposure to unpredictable situations, patient crises, both medical and psychiatric, and varying temperatures.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary range for this position is between $63,939.20 and $66,934.40, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and access to professional development opportunities.
