Job Summary

This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, adhering to Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington's ambulatory Nursing Care Standards. You will coordinate and facilitate healthcare services for patients across various segments of the healthcare delivery system.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Planning
    • Conduct ongoing assessments of patient care needs using the nursing process.
    • Develop written plans of care for patient needs in collaboration with the healthcare team.
    • Prioritize patient care based on essential needs and available resources.
  • Nursing Interventions
    • Provide safe and competent nursing interventions in accordance with patient care plans.
    • Communicate with patients and their families/significant others regarding interventions and provide education as needed.
  • Aging Population Care
    • Understand the physiologic and psychological effects of normal aging and assess patient needs accordingly.
    • Demonstrate effective communication skills when interacting with patients across different age groups.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions.
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families/significant others, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Professional Development
    • Identify learning needs and participate in educational programs related to aging populations served.
    • Maintain a high standard of professional work habits and adhere to KFHPW policies and procedures.
About the Role

This position offers a competitive salary range of $85,000-$110,000 annually, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
