MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a highly skilled travel nurse RN to join our team in Richmond, Virginia.

Job Overview

This 13-week assignment requires a registered nurse with expertise in long-term acute care. You will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with our medical team to ensure exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Care for patients with complex medical conditions, including pulmonary HTN, respiratory failure, COPD, CHF, and A-Fib
  • Monitor and administer medications (orally, subcutaneously, and through an IV)
  • Educate patients and family on surgical processes and how to manage their illness/injury
  • Adjust and perform in fast-paced environments, adapting to changing situations

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • An active RN license
  • A degree from an accredited nursing program
  • BLS & ACLS certifications
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an LTAC setting
  • Experience with Vents, Trachs, Drips, EG Tubes, and ability to read Tele-strips
