About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Optometrist to join our team at The Medicus Firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering exceptional eye care services and building a successful practice in Texas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough eye examinations using advanced optometric equipment and interpret results accurately.
  • Diagnose and treat various ocular diseases, prescribing appropriate treatments as needed.
  • Recommend and fit patients with eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids, ensuring optimal visual outcomes.
  • Provide outstanding customer service through all patient interactions, fostering a positive and caring environment.
  • Direct staff and contribute to the development of the overall practice, driving growth and success.
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program.
  • Active Texas state optometry license.
  • Valid CPR certificate.
  • Two-plus years of optometrist experience preferred.
Compensation:
  • $10,000 Sign-On Bonus.
  • Relocation Bonus: Up to $5,000.
  • Full Benefits package including PTO, Medical, Dental, and Retirement Savings Plan.
  • Monday-Friday: 8 am-1 pm, 2 pm-5 pm.
