Salary and Benefits

We are currently accepting applications for a Classroom Aide position at our Head Start location in Lincoln City, Oregon. The salary for this role is $16.33 per hour, with the possibility of bilingual pay at $17.14 per hour for those fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

As a Classroom Aide, you will play a crucial role in helping our teachers prepare the classroom, assist with lunch and snack, and maintain a safe and sanitary environment for our children. We focus on the "whole child" and provide a nurturing learning environment that includes parents as important resources for their children's learning.

  • This is a 32-hour per week position, Tuesday through Friday, with some flexibility within business hours possible.
  • Our Classroom Aide must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of basic sanitation, housekeeping procedures, and good personal hygiene habits. Bilingual English/Spanish and previous Head Start experience are highly preferred.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a valid Oregon driver's license, Food Handlers certification, First Aid and CPR certification, TB/Tuberculin test results, health verification form, and enrollment in the Oregon Child Care Division Criminal History Registry.
