Job Description

Northern Tier High Adventure Base is seeking Seasonal Summer Base Staff/Support Staff to join our team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional and consistent quality in everything you do, while developing your skills in customer service, gear inventory, and custodial work.

About Northern Tier High Adventure Base

We are a national high adventure base for the Boy Scouts of America, specializing in wilderness canoe treks in the Boundary Waters and Canada, as well as winter camping treks. Our guiding values are the scout oath and law, and we provide life-changing experiences tailored specifically for scout units.

A Day in the Life of a Summer Base Staff Member

As a Summer Base Staff Member, you will be vital to the success of our program. Responsibilities vary based on position, but all work together to support base camp operations. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse and qualified team, delivering the wilderness experience of a lifetime to thousands of youth and adults.

Qualifications for a Summer Base Staff Member

  • Age 18 or older
  • Available for the winter season
  • Excitement for winter activities
  • Passion for outdoor adventure and youth development
