About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Nurse Anesthetist to join our team at Mount Sinai Hospital. As a key member of our perioperative care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and anesthesia services in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Administer, monitor, and manage patient care before, during, and after anesthesia procedures.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain informed consent from patients or legal guardians.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including anesthesia interventions and responses.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in nurse anesthesia preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in an intensive care setting.
  • Certification by the Council of Certification of Nurse Anesthetists required, or qualifying to sit for exam within 12 months of hire.
  • Ongoing education and professional development opportunities available.
Salary and Benefits

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
