Job Title: Vice President of Sales

The Cigna Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Sales to lead our sales team in the MidAmerica region. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy that drives business growth and improves client and customer retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy that aligns with Cigna's overall business objectives
  • Lead a team of sales professionals to achieve sales and membership growth goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing strategies
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to sales team members
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of industry-related experience, with a minimum of 5 years of sales experience
  • Sales management experience preferred, including recruitment, selection, and development of new sales representatives
  • Excellent knowledge of sales management processes and account penetration strategies
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills, including public speaking and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to lead a sales team and develop staff
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to support a strong sales growth result
