Job Overview:

The Operations Manager reports to the Division Manager and is responsible for assisting the division/area with growth initiatives. Each division operates a business unit, and the Operations Manager assists the Division Manager with profit and loss management on a monthly basis, with the support of financial leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Division Manager in managing field services staff (up to 10) at the divisional level.
  • Assist with performance management for field-level technical staff.
  • Review and approve scopes of work to ensure safety and quality standards are established.
  • Ensure service dates and customer commitments are met.
  • Assist with the divisional P&L to ensure cost and profitability levels are achieved.
  • Coordinate field services labor scheduling.
  • Establish and maintain customer relations with various levels within the customer organization.
  • Support Division Manager in preparing reports for regional management, including safety, financial, technical, etc.
  • Maintain sufficient levels of stock inventory to support business needs.
  • Build and maintain a cohesive and safe working environment.
  • Represent Colt Services Inc. with honesty in day-to-day duties.
  • Maintain Colt's values in both action and appearance.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial services, preferably in leak sealing.
  • 2+ years of experience managing a team of more than 2.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly driven, self-motivated, and well-organized.
  • Able to safely operate a vehicle and make face-to-face customer meetings.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean record.
  • Ability to adapt to ever-changing schedules and priorities (24-hour emergency service).
  • Ability to pass a drug & alcohol test and background check in compliance with our safety program.
  • All management roles are responsible for setting a good example for their staff.
