We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Operations Coordinator to join our team at Creative Cove. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our buyers and merchandise managers in managing daily retail operations.

Job Summary:

  • Prepare and write domestic and import purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and integrity of ASN/EDI PO information.
  • Communicate daily with vendors via telephone and email regarding purchase orders, allocations, problem solving, etc.
  • Assist in merchandise shipment follow up and problem solving for over/under shipments and vendor charge-backs/cost discrepancies.
  • Fax, file and photocopy PO's and other departmental forms, as well as develop effective organizational techniques to support merchants and operations.
  • Coordinate all travel arrangements weekly for 2-5 merchants and complete Merchandise Manager/Buyer itinerary paperwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and enter electronic PO's via the Buyer Worksheet application.
  • Revises purchase orders daily and follows the purchase order change process.
  • Ensures all necessary signatures are obtained for a letter of credit PO.
  • Pull late lists weekly and follows up on all late PO's with vendors.
  • Tracks all PO's generated through the buyer worksheet system to ensure final PO has been received.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience in retail operations or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in MS Office and experience with Purchasing Orders required.
