Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic to join our team at TransDirectUSA. As a Trailer Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and performing preventative and as-needed maintenance on our semi-trailer fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and diagnose issues with semi-trailers to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturer specifications
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience with DOT inspections
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working on semi-trailers
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working on brakes
  • Minimum 1 year of experience managing preventative maintenance programs
  • DOT medical card required or willingness to obtain upon hire

  • Competitive hourly pay up to $30.00/hour based on experience
  • Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
  • Typical work week is 40 hours
