Non-Destructive Testing Specialist

Job Description

This position involves conducting quality weld inspections using various methods in line with industry standards and specific contract requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting comprehensive data reports, preparing quality plans, inspecting and testing reports, reviewing and certifying final documentation for customers, setting up and performing NDT test procedures, and interpreting specifications for NDT testing and acceptance/rejection criteria.

The role requires coordination with project management, production teams, customers, and third-party surveyors. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of NDT principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting comprehensive data reports
  • Preparing quality plans
  • Inspecting and testing reports
  • Reviewing and certifying final documentation for customers
  • Setting up and performing NDT test procedures
  • Interpreting specifications for NDT testing and acceptance/rejection criteria

Requirements:

  • NDT Level II or above
  • Strong understanding of NDT principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
