About the Role

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Imaging Specialist to join our team at Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center. As an essential member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform radiographic procedures using various methods and equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment.
  • Provide excellent patient care, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients during procedures.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (RT(R)) certification
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years of clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist
  • 1 year of experience working with mammography equipment
