We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Surgery Nurse to join our team. This opportunity offers a unique blend of cardiothoracic surgery experience and flexibility to work in general surgery capacities.
Schedule and On-Call Information
The successful candidate can expect to work 3x12, 4x10, or 5x8 hour shifts with on-call responsibilities paid equally among staff members.
Job Description
This Surgical Nurse will be primarily responsible for intraoperative and pre/post-operative care in the operating room. A strong preference is given to candidates who can scrub and circulate effectively. The nurse will collaborate closely with surgeons of all specialties, anesthetists, and surgical technicians in a fast-paced environment, ensuring constant learning and skill maintenance.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of experience in any surgical specialty. Strong consideration will be given to applicants with surgical backgrounds and those willing to work with patients in cardiac surgery, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and other surgical disciplines.
A valid ASN or BSN nursing degree and an eligible or current New Hampshire RN license are also essential requirements.
