Mental Health Care Provider Opportunity in Northern California

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Physician Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team at She Recruits. LLC in beautiful northern California.
Role SummaryThis role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, providing comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment. Key Responsibilities:- Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough mental health assessments, considering medical history, psychosocial factors, and patient input to develop a holistic understanding of the individual's condition.
- Diagnosis and Treatment: Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to formulate accurate diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans, which may include psychotherapy, medication management, and other therapeutic interventions.
- Medication Management: Administer and monitor psychotropic medications as prescribed, evaluating their effectiveness and addressing any side effects or concerns with patients.
- Therapeutic Support: Provide evidence-based psychotherapy or counseling to patients, offering emotional support, coping strategies, and skill-building techniques.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower them in their journey to recovery.
- Crisis Intervention: Respond to crisis situations as necessary, providing immediate support and coordinating emergency care if needed.
- Collaborative Care: Collaborate closely with psychologists, social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of integrated, patient-centered care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and ethical guidelines.
- Research and Development: Stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health treatment and participate in continuous education and research to enhance patient care.
Candidates must have a current CA license or be able to obtain one. Both new graduates and experienced providers are encouraged to apply. The average number of patients seen per day is 20. The schedule is Monday-Friday, with no call or weekends. Preferred qualifications include specialized training or experience in mental health care, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving abilities, empathy and compassion for individuals dealing with mental health challenges, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Benefits:We offer a competitive salary ranging from $170,000 to $200,000 based on experience, an excellent benefit package including paid time off, continuing education allowance, licensing reimbursement, health benefits, life insurance, relocation assistance, and a 401K plan.
