Senior z/OS Systems Programmer

We are seeking a versatile z/OS Senior Systems Programmer skilled in the z/OS operating system with 9+ years of experience.

This position requires the ability to plan, install, configure, customize and maintain IBM z/OS operating system software and various other base and optional features including TSO/E, ISPF/PDF, JES2, SDSF, in a multi-LPAR, multi-site environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Installation and customization of IBM z/OS and associated major subsystems.
  • Installation and customization of IBM and non-IBM software products that run on the z/OS operating system.
  • Maintenance of system policies and user documentation.
  • Participation in disaster recovery procedures.

We value strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent customer support skills. A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or four years of additional experience is required. Ability to apply for and maintain a public trust clearance is also necessary.

The estimated salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $120,000 per year, depending on experience, location, and other factors. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision offerings, weekly direct deposit, paid holidays and personal time off, 401(k) with match, and more.
