We are a rapidly expanding health care organization seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical locations and maintaining a safe environment for patients.
Our ideal candidate is skilled in equipment inspection and maintenance, with a proven track record of collaboration with vendors and manufacturers. The ability to drive to multiple clinic locations is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate records of daily clinic/facility maintenance activities.
- Communicate effectively with clinic directors and senior leadership regarding requests and needs.
- Perform routine inspections and repairs on therapeutic modalities.
- Assemble, build, mount, and install necessary equipment and fixtures.
- Craft high-quality workmanship using hand tools and basic power tools.
- Demonstrate fundamental knowledge of building structural integrity and safety considerations.
- Including tasks such as mounting pictures/frames, assembling furniture, replacing door handles, installing load-bearing brackets/mounts for rehabilitation equipment, and assorted wall fixtures.
- Work closely with the Director of Operations to identify equipment needs and prioritize requests for efficient patient care.
- Liaise with General Contractors or third-party service providers for larger maintenance projects.
- Prioritize tasks based on clinical location needs.
- Perform general facility maintenance as required.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in equipment inspection and maintenance.
- Proven expertise in collaborating with equipment vendors and manufacturers.
- Familiarity with building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation equipment and its maintenance requirements.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills for effective collaboration with vendors, manufacturers, and clinical teams.
- Proficiency in keeping detailed service logs and documentation.
- Handyman skills for addressing general maintenance tasks as needed.
- Strong attention to detail in conducting routine inspections and maintaining accurate service logs.
- Flexibility to assist with general maintenance tasks and address unforeseen issues.
- A collaborative mindset to work effectively with clinical teams and contribute to a positive working environment.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities and tasks simultaneously.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe environment through detailed equipment inspections and regular safety meetings.
