We are a rapidly expanding health care organization seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical locations and maintaining a safe environment for patients.

Our ideal candidate is skilled in equipment inspection and maintenance, with a proven track record of collaboration with vendors and manufacturers. The ability to drive to multiple clinic locations is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of daily clinic/facility maintenance activities.
  • Communicate effectively with clinic directors and senior leadership regarding requests and needs.
  • Perform routine inspections and repairs on therapeutic modalities.
  • Assemble, build, mount, and install necessary equipment and fixtures.
  1. Craft high-quality workmanship using hand tools and basic power tools.
  2. Demonstrate fundamental knowledge of building structural integrity and safety considerations.
  3. Including tasks such as mounting pictures/frames, assembling furniture, replacing door handles, installing load-bearing brackets/mounts for rehabilitation equipment, and assorted wall fixtures.
  • Work closely with the Director of Operations to identify equipment needs and prioritize requests for efficient patient care.
  • Liaise with General Contractors or third-party service providers for larger maintenance projects.
  • Prioritize tasks based on clinical location needs.
  • Perform general facility maintenance as required.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in equipment inspection and maintenance.
  • Proven expertise in collaborating with equipment vendors and manufacturers.
  • Familiarity with building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation equipment and its maintenance requirements.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills for effective collaboration with vendors, manufacturers, and clinical teams.
  • Proficiency in keeping detailed service logs and documentation.
  • Handyman skills for addressing general maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail in conducting routine inspections and maintaining accurate service logs.
  • Flexibility to assist with general maintenance tasks and address unforeseen issues.
  • A collaborative mindset to work effectively with clinical teams and contribute to a positive working environment.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities and tasks simultaneously.
  • Dedication to maintaining a safe environment through detailed equipment inspections and regular safety meetings.
Salary Information
