Job Summary

The Process Improvement Specialist is a key member of the AmeriGas Propane, Inc. team, responsible for driving operational excellence and enhancing performance across the organization. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Operations Strategy and Improvement team to develop and implement lean and continuous improvement methodologies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Design and implement business intelligence applications to collect, analyze, and present data, supporting informed decision-making and process enhancements.
  • Conduct data-driven analysis to identify areas for improvement, develop solutions, and measure the effectiveness of implemented changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and performance, and develop process enhancements to drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor business performance and communicate updates to leadership on results, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with experience in business intelligence applications (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in lean and continuous improvement methodologies, with a proven track record of implementing effective process improvements.
  • Strong project management and process skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in a business-related field (e.g., MBA, MS in Operations Management).
  • 3+ years of experience in continuous or process improvement in a large organization.
Working Conditions
  • Office environment with moderate travel requirements.
